Website Design & UX Support for Educate Magis

Educate Magis is the global digital platform for Jesuit educators, offering a collaborative space to share knowledge, access training, and build a sense of worldwide community. My long-term collaboration with their team focused on transforming their website into a more intuitive, engaging, and internationally accessible platform.

From homepage structure to interactive tools and course dashboards, I worked on multiple areas of the site with a unified visual identity and user-centered logic. Below are selected examples of the work I designed and implemented.

Case 1: A clearer and more engaging homepage

To reflect Educate Magis’ global mission, I redesigned the homepage with better structure and clarity. Key areas like featured stories, educator tools, and courses were brought to the front, while visual elements guide users toward discovering what the platform offers—regardless of their language or location.

Cases 2: Jesuit Global Network of Schools and Database Search Tool

I helped design a section dedicated to the Jesuit Global Network of Schools, highlighting founding members and a growing list of institutions around the world. Alongside, I implemented a searchable global map and database of schools, allowing users to filter by name, region, or type of institution. This interactive map became a powerful visual representation of the global reach of Jesuit education.

The combination of these tools makes it easier to identify, connect, and collaborate with schools across continents.

Case 3: Online Groups for Ignatian Collaboration

To support global collaboration, I worked on the design and structure of the Groups section — a space where users can join or create online groups around specific topics or projects.

This section features an explanation of how the tool works, highlights key features like group privacy levels, shared resources, and discussion threads, and makes it easy to manage participation. It helps build real-time, meaningful Ignatian collaboration online.

Case 4: Staff Formation & Engagement

This area of the platform encourages formation for school staff around Ignatian values. I helped design a section that clearly explains how to get involved, why formation matters, and how users can inspire others by sharing their learning journey.

The visuals and text are tailored to speak both to new educators and seasoned professionals, making the process of engaging with formation content more human and motivating.

Case 6: Choose the Course that Best Suits Your Needs

The Courses section allows users to explore and select from a variety of online learning options. I designed a system that organizes courses by subject and format, and includes user reviews and experience highlights to guide decisions.

This area is highly dynamic and focused on user needs, offering a seamless learning experience from course discovery to enrollment.

Case 7: Full Course Experience – Ignatian Intercultural Communication

One of the most important parts of the platform is the course experience. I redesigned the full user flow for the course “Ignatian Intercultural Communication”, including:

  • A course detail page with description, author, and selection of date and time zone

  • A user dashboard showing course progress, members, and upcoming sessions

  • A smart time-zone selector that dynamically shows available sessions based on user choice

This course flow was designed to accommodate international users with different schedules and learning paces, making online learning accessible and flexible.

Case 7: Connected Classrooms

The Connected Classrooms initiative links students and educators from different countries through collaborative digital learning experiences. I supported the visual structure of this space, making it easier for teachers to understand how to participate and initiate classroom exchanges.

Case 8: Blog and Stories

I contributed to the design and layout of the blog, a central storytelling space where educators share reflections, classroom insights, and global news. It was important to create a clean reading experience with strong visuals and an inviting tone to encourage participation from the worldwide network.

Final Impact

My collaboration with Educate Magis resulted in a platform that is visually coherent, functionally smooth, and aligned with their mission of connection, formation, and global impact. Each section was crafted with international educators in mind, ensuring accessibility, collaboration, and clarity for all users.
